When a card is deactivated, the deactivation command is sent to the hardware devices via the software. However, if any device is offline at the time, it will not receive the update immediately. Once the device comes back online and syncs with the system, the deactivation command will take effect, preventing further use of the card.
To use same card, you can re-enroll (Issue Credential) the card as per the given steps-
Prerequisites
Users must have Issue credential privilege. User must have enabled the Pin
Management in the Access360 settings to issue the PINs.
Prerequisites for Biometrics
If the auth mode consists of a card, the card must already be issued. In biometrics if
PIN is to be used with card, then Card + PIN must be issued from Card section.
Description: Issue a card using the 'Card Only' option.
● Navigate to HRView → Credentials → Issue credential.
● Search for the user.
● Click on the icon for credential issuance.
● Click on 'Card' tab.
● Select 'Card' as the credential category.
● Choose 'Card Only' as the access type.
● Choose the card format (Format or No Format).
● Enter the card number or find it. Click here for more details.
● Optionally, select credential type, issue date, expiry date, and exempt bio.
● Click 'Add'.
