Possible Cause: 

Wiring Issue or Hardware Configuration Issue


Answer :

  1. Verify that DIP Switches 6 & 7 are ON and the SIO board address is set correctly
  2. Check RS485(Communication) wires are connected in the correct terminal like TR+, TR- and GND of the two interconnected boards
  3. After checking the above 2 options, if the interface is still not getting connected, then execute the Reset Controller command from Security View>Controller>Hardware Troubleshoot option
  4. Check the status in the Action window should be Successful
